Planning Assessments

We normally give clients free initial advice on the likelihood of success with their project, the way in which we can help and the likely cost of our assistance. Additionally, we will advise if success is unlikely or if our advice is not needed.

Arrowsmith Associates work on the assumption that clients who have been given an honest opinion that they have little chance of success, or that our assistance is not needed, are more likely to return in the future.

Further Research

Sometimes further research, including contact with the local planning authority, is required before we can give definitive advice. Typically this will be for a modest fee.

More detailed planning assessments can be undertaken when a client has a number of options. Such advice can be given about;

• The scale of development

• When to make an application

• The best future use for a building or lan
