Other than planning applications we deal with other planning related applications. These are:

Lawful Development Certificates

A Lawful Development Certificate is applied for when a client wishes to establish the lawfulness of a development which has been carried out or which they propose to carry out in the future. These applications are not concerned with whether a development is acceptable in planning terms. Instead they depend on whether it satisfies various legal tests. Depending on the specific issues we may need to call on legal assistance.

Listed Building Applications

Listed Building Applications are applications for developments which change the character of buildings listed by the Secretary of State for their historic or architectural significance. In these cases we may call on assistance from architect colleagues.

Conservation Area Applications

Conservation Area consent is applied for when proposing to demolish buildings in a conservation area. These are usually submitted in conjunction with planning applications.

Objections

We also act for clients who are objecting to these applications.
